Over 80% of Businesses in Sheringham entered the 40,s competition organised by the Chamber of Trade which is over double last year,
On behalf of the Chamber we would like to thank all those Businesses who took part
We would also like to thank Judges Tony and Sandra Shipp who were very impressed with the standard of the entries which made their job of judging very difficult/Thanks also go to the Mayor Tricia Brooks for presenting the prizes and of course to Trevor Eady at North Norfolk Railway for organising the 40’s weekend
Jeremy Stubbs Chairman announced the winners who were
FASHION WHEEL / KATIES / LILY LIKES / SHERINGHAM TRAWLER / THE CROWN P H / ROY BOYS
With the overall winner for best in town going to BLYTH and WRIGHT who were presented with the Jamie Wright Memorial Shield outside their shop by Jeremy /photo attached showing Chris Wright and Sharon Alton [who designed the windows] from Blyth and Wright with Jeremy.
The 40’s weekend is proving more popular each year and there is no doubt that the involvement of the Traders has been a major factor in this which helps to keep Sheringham Special.
